Maher is grateful to Crane India for supporting us to purchase land for construction of the Home at Satara that will become a safe-haven for 50 local destitute children. Crane has a powerful history of leading independent charitable programs which provide assistance to Crane employees and their families, to our local communities, to educational institutions and to worldwide relief efforts. Crane employees are proud of this meaningful component of our culture, in keeping with the philanthropic nature of Richard Teller Crane who laid the groundwork for the widespread support we are able to extend today.
On 10th May 2018 we performed the auspicious ground breaking ceremony of this Crane Sponsored Home at Satara through Crane Corporate Social Responsibility Fund. Ground breaking was performed by Crane senior Leader like Mr. Hari Jinaga, Regional President and Managing Director, Crane India, Alex Alcala, President CP&E, Mark Youssef, President- Crane MEA, Andrew Powell, VP/ GM Saunders, Juergen Sonderschaefer Director Global Sales and Melissa Lewis, VP HR. along with Ms Hirabegam – President Maher with several staff witnessed the ceremony. As per company tradition, the most recently married associate along with his wife performed the Puja.
